SCART is an awful standard. The plug and cable seem to be specifically designed so it slowly gets levered out of the socket by the weight of the cable. No locking mechanism at all either. The whole point was to standardise on the connector for TVs which it did because before SCART, you'd get a wide range of sockets and plugs but the actual plug they chose is still awful.
