As I read thru that site I recalled living in Minnesota. They advised carrying candles in your car incase the vehicle ever got snowbound. The idea was to crank down a window a bit and light the candle for a little warmth when, or if, the engine died.
As cold as it got, though, I always wondered how well that would work. But as they would mention it each winter I suppose that it must be better than nothing.
