I never missed the cover probably because I don't like the way they look on my shelves. It's also one of the reasons why I don't like paperbacks; they look too busy on my shelves. I have covered some of my paperbacks with simple construction paper so they have a more cohesive look.

Good analogy. Someone lent me the book that I'm reading now and as I was reading it, I realised I no longer enjoyed reading from a hard copy as much as from my readers. So, I d/l the ebook format and am enjoying it on my reader.

Needless to say, I love the stable horses that I already own, but I love the cars in my garage more.
