There does seem to be a portion of the Net that does indeed seem to take great pride in attacking The Church of MobilousReadium.

This bizarre cult attacks MR constantly, vigorously and endlessly.

I speak, of course, of the illiteratia known as "Spammers". These Spammers seem to be engaged in a holy war dedicated to getting people to convert their non-book videos to formats for various non-ebook devices. They post their vile propaganda in every available MR forum, no matter how inappropriate. Their ultimate plan is obvious: to keep people from reading books, and spending the time that should be spent reading, by downloading video converters.

They will not rest till reading is never practiced and every reader is turned into a video slave.

We must remain vigilant, and always notify the Holy Green Monks and Monkettes whenever this hateful propaganda is found!
