Any one have word on the Copia e-readers?

I keep reading they have cut back to only 2 models, one with an LCD screen (which to me puts it out of the running -- why not get an iPad then to read books!). Copia updates their Twitter feeds, but they don't answer emails or twitter requests for information. Too bad, since the 9" Ocean readers looked promising.
