The only real advantage I see with the Kindle is the dictionary. Of course this implies other capabilities, like selecting, etc., that might also be useful.
I do not see any advantage in overpriced, locked to the Kindle books, nor do I trust Amazon to "keep my library forever" or even a year or two.
