Hello everyone!
I'm an avid reader. If I didn't have at least 2 unread books on hand, I would get anxious.

I have tons of books in this house --probably over 1,000. The thing is, I cannot throw books away. I have to actually OWN the books I read, and I won't read the same book twice, with one exception: the All Creatures Great and Small series. Yes, I'm a bit bizarre.

I purchased a Kindle 3 two weeks ago out of sheer necessity, really. I have no.more.room.for.books. I was initially very nervous about missing the "feel of a book in my hands", but honestly, I have adapted very well. However, nothing electronic will ever replace the atmosphere of literature, learning, and coziness that a well-stocked library/bookcase gives a home, imho. Just my .02
