Do : "The whole duration of flight" looks like a few minutes to you ? I'm all willing to switch wi-fi off, buy what about devices that don't have a wi-fi off switch.

Point is, planes should be built in order to avoid any potential problem. Actually they are, thing are tested ad nauseum, system doubled to have a backup in case of faillure. They're meant to be resistant to anything and everything, and a few wi-fi waves gets them down ?
