I wouldn't count on that, most people won't even know it is possible never mind how to do it.

Stick it on Smashwords as an epub and pdf, but don't be tempted to let them farm it out to other sites or Amazon might start to discount your price so they can do you out of royalties.

The most I ever paid for an ebook is $5.99, but that was only because the paper version was $125 + post from America and it was one of the writers already on my buy everything list. For a normal ebook I wouldn't pay more than $3.50. For someone I've never heard of before it would need to be free unless the subject matter really appealed to me, in which case a 25% free sample would probably swing it.
