Well, this one is a good free site. Click on the wiki link above. Look under the ebooks column and you will see a link to free ebooks.
I am in IT as well. I showed my boss the Astak, and he expressed interest as a holder of tech manuals. He was a bit upset that computer manuals weren't cheaper via ebook downloads. I pointed out somewere, but I hadn't found many with a large discount.
