Good to have your company, Jude. Kobo -- because of its Canadian connection -- might well be a good choice for you. Don't be misled by the ready-loaded free books; these are classics and other Public Domain works you can pick up free all over the net. And they'll often be badly formatted, unlike those offered free by members in the MR library. Another red herring is store-linked library software.
