Don't forget BTW that once all the rebooting etc. is finished, the Kindle will then go through a very extensive (and power-intensive) indexing process. Battery gets hot and depletes if it's a big collection to index, e.g. several hundred books, and during this time you may have trouble using your Kindle, as I did: nothing responds and your first thought is that your beloved reader has gone belly-up. Fear not, and wait...... And wait.....
