If your wife will find a reader and a few cookbooks (and maybe a few fiction books you know she wants or old favorites) a great present or not really depends on her. For Valentine's Day my husband has given me a dishwasher, KitchenAide Blender, KitchenAide Food Processor, and an industrial strength cherry pitter (all are very nice, expensive pieces he knew I wanted). One of my sister-in-laws is horrified every year. The other one is jealous as can be. My mother and my mother-in-law are somewhere between amused and jealous. I am very pleased. It really depends on her so I'm not sure what to tell you. Good luck!
