Ulcers definitely are not fun. I had them because I was on daily doses of meloxicam for pain from deformed feet that didn't appreciate 10 hour shifts and was exacerbated by being on blood thinners. Job stress just made things worse. Now that I'm retired, I no longer need nor take the meloxicam (in fact I'm banned from NSAIDs like meloxicam or ibuprofen), the ulcers have pretty much healed up, and I'm not having near as much trouble from the feet.
