Just got my new Nook - my birthday is next week but I couldn't wait to try it out!
In the first few hours I registered it, downloaded all my ebooks (I had been using my PC to read them previously), figured out how to download project Gutenberg books, linked to my library books and loaded my own wallpaper and screensaver pix. It was fun to figure it all out with some help from these forums and B&N.com.
Still adjusting to the experience, but loving it so far.
