Back in the late 60s I remember reading where the government was giving some professor $65,000 to study why heroin addicts never had ulcers. In today money that would probably be about $200,000, or more.
I never read the answer to why they don't, but I imagine that after shooting up, they had NO problems.
Just a thought to anyone who wants to relieve stress and anxiety. There are, of course, some undesirable side effects.
