I'm sorry but dan brown is the only person I can think of who rips his own work off
as for craftmanship his is only that he manages to get people to by his books on the basis of his "background research" I'm sorry but five on wikipedia and a bit of a guess is not research and as for taking 6 years to write the last version of his story line that was probably because he was too busy counting his money.
