I don't have a large number of LIT e-books, but they all have jpeg images (and mobigen.exe -jpeg maintains image sizes). Where can I find a (non-DRM) LIT with GIFs larger than 64KB?
The lack of a lit2mobi command illustrates that there is much more 3rd party software available for LRF than for MOBI. It would be relatively easy to produce a lit2mobi command for Windows, but the need for wine to run mobigen.exe under OSX and Linux would make this harder to do in a cross platform manner.
