I understand your thinking....but imagine the lack of hygiene down in the mine. After a week those cheerleaders wouldn't be nearly so attractive, and after a month it'd be hard just to tolerate yourself.
I think I'm on the side of just having my ebook reader with me.
(All jokes aside, the miners on their way home have a great deal of respect from me just from the fact that they apparently got along and didn't kill each other in a mind-bogglingly stressful situation.)
