There is now a nice review (by J. Lesley) of the Ian Rutledge book up on Amazon. It kind-of is a book and it kind-of is only a sample...

Actually, it is an essay from the author of the Ian Rutledge series that discusses how the character and the setting were developed. It then goes on to add samples from three different books, and finishes with a chronology of the series.

So, if you like the series or the craft of writing you will probably find it to be an interesting read. However, if you are looking for a fictional novel you may be disappointed.
