I think, we can get two platform for developing.
One is Kindle Java Framework. We can see and run our applicatios in home dashboard. This is good, but we are limited by kindle and java API.
Another, we can use linux native programs on QTembedded. We have more flexibility, but we have problem with it launch.
I suggest this solution: we have launchpad - hotkey manager, which can work as daemon ( we start it at the boot ). We can write application launcher ( something similar to Alt + F2 ) with bookmarks or favourite applications and relate it to some hotkey.
