Amazon has been very good at replacing cracked screens but it's not something they have to do regularly since, as Salgueiros pointed out, it's not technically covered by the warranty. I think Amazon has been doing it to develop brand loyalty, which has worked pretty well for them by far. Still, I wouldn't rely on Amazon to replace it if it cracks from misuse. Amazon could decide to be pickier anytime they like.
