I'm generally a lurker and very shy about posting. But I'm beyond excited about getting my first ereader as soon as the Sony PRS-950 finally comes out. I've been unable to read for a few years now due to declining eyesight, so the prospect of getting back to wholesale consumption of books again has taken me back to a child's anticipation of Christmas!
As for my moniker, it's an allusion to how I used to pull the covers over my head and turn on the flashlight when my mother yelled upstairs to turn OFF the light and go to sleep!!! Every two weeks, I'd return to the library with my previous load of 8 books, to excitedly spend time choosing the next 8.
So until the 950 comes out, I'm coming here to help me cope with the interminable waiting.
