Thank you all for valuable advice. I didn't know the screen is that fragile. It looks the screen cover is a necessity. Then, if the screen cracks, does the warranty cover that? Amazon's website doesn't make it clear.

Would it less likely to crack the screen on PRS-650, since it has sturdier housing? Then I think I would seriously consider getting it.
