Getting back on topic........as best I can understand.......with the 3g version, you are always 'connected'. In the docs office, at the post office, at school, whereever, you are 'on'.....unless you choose not to be.
With the WiFi version.....you have to be at home, or somewhere there is a free 'hotspot' to connect to.
