I feel as many here do about Facebook but *had* to join recently in order to manage their FB (business) presence for a client. So I have an account now, with just an e-mail address, a generic photo and a fake birth date. And even that marked private to "friends" only. I entered the Kindle Giveaway and good luck to them using "all" my personal information, likes etc.
Off-topic: I am constantly amazed by the information that people post about themselves, extremely personal things and every last detail about what they are doing and feeling... This must be a bonanza for private investigation... and stalking... It takes about 10 minutes to go through all the privacy settings but apps such as this Kindle Giveaway asks for permission to view everything! Quite incredible.
