Apparently, the Sony Library software sends a message to Overdrive (as does ADE): "Patron returned item" - which Overdrive now seems to ignore. Ah, the return early feature must be supported at the library level, then. My library recognizes when I return books in the Sony software (I just tested it now) but I can't return Mobi books early.
