It might be better to ask when DON'T I read. I am assuming you mean reading actual books for pleasure of course (because I do tend to read every little bit of text in my environment, I can't help it). Here is the list:
Let's see, uh... oh yes! When I'm working (unless it's lunch or some other time I can grab a few pages from a book)
when I'm... uh.... on the computer (unless I'm multitasking, which I frequently do)...... when I'm in the shower (shampoo bottles don't count, right?)
when I'm stirring something hot (got burned- literally- doing that once)
when I'm watching my kids play soccer (I'm usually the ref anyway)
when I'm out with friends or family (sometimes thinking about the book I had to put down...sometimes I grab a few pages there, too)
when we eat together as a family
when I'm sleeping!
Most of the rest of the day, I am with book in hand, reading. My mother, an avid reader herself, once said she had never in her life seen anyone read while vacuuming and sweeping the floor. Growing up, I refused to even go into the bathroom for any purpose without first choosing a book.
My son is just like me. *sigh*
