Rooibos Capetown (hibiscus blossoms, rose, blue mallow, rooibush)
Yummy.
Happy Friday!
The posted tea table is correct, at least based on everything I have read at various tea sites. I don't know why the more processed teas have higher caffiene levels, I have simply rea that they do.
My husband and I grow lots of different spicy peppers in our backyard. When we dehydrate the peppers they become a great deal spiceier then then they are used fresh. Could it be a similar chemical reaction with tea? The processing of the black and Oolongs leads to more water being removed from the leaf which concontrates the caffiene content?
Stitchawl I would love to try some of that tea. I have a variety of green teas at my desk. Bancha, Sencha, Genmaicha, Gyokuro Imperial, Three Kingdoms Mao Feng. I love me some good green tea.
My most recent purchase was a White Earl Grey which I was surprised at how much I liked. It had the Earl Grey flavor but was much lighter then a black Earl Grey. Of which I have three types at my desk.
