I have recently upgraded to 0.7.17 and HOLY MOSES in the bullrushes, this now loads up significantly faster than previous versions.
Calibre had been loading/running faster and faster on my Windows 7 64 bit dual-core system with each update.

In either 20 or 21 it suddenly slowed to a crawl. I have about 2800 books in my database.

I haven't installed any new software except the Firefox 4 beta.

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing slowness just in the last couple of updates?
