You are making a lot of assumptions. The most important is that you are the only person here to have extensive experience with both readers. A lot of the posters here have owned multiple devices so might in fact have
more experience than you do.
Ultimately, I am sure that the Kindle is a better choice for [b]
you[i]. That being said, your experiences are by no means universal. I think we have adequate testimony that there are many people who like their Nooks quite a lot. The simple fact of the matter is that almost any reader is going to find at least a few people who like it quite a lot, including readers that generally get poor reviews.
My particular objection was how you characterized Nook advocates as being shills for B&N. They like the Nook more than Kindle 3 or the Sonys or the Pocketbooks, they might even be Nook fanboys, but that doesn't make them shills.
