Nook has a easily replaceable battery in case of permanent battery death. Kindle I read you have to send it in (yes, supposedly you CAN replace the battery yourself, but I am not that technology advanced and not sure if I could trust myself to be able to do this, plus, I'd be afraid of damaging the device).
Can you see my dilemma?

Actually the amount of screws you have to undo is about the same in both. And getting the back off the K3 is only a little more demanding.
