I find FB very useful for promotions and for giving readers the illusion that I deeply care about their opinions.

The one HUGE advantage is that total strangers can send me messages without having access to my e-mail address. Love that.

I have extreme privacy settings and don't allow tagging of me in photos, so no fears on that score.
