Reading "history" can be a lot of fun. But reading a well researched fictional story set in historical times can help to put the "history" part in the perspective of their daily lives.

If you haven't done so, try to read Roma soon. I'm sure you won’t be disappointed.

I envy you your Latin. When I went into high school they had just stopped teaching Latin.
