Actually the Pocket PC version of Mobi Reader shows your current page number at the end of the status bar, at the bottom of the screen. The iLiad goes one further and shows the current page number in a box in the middle of the status bar, and the last page number at the end of the bar. The Gen3 obviously knows both your current page number and the total number of pages (because it has a "goto page x" facility, but it doesn't display them while you're reading.
