MobileFun doing 2 Oberon designs

OK so it is only 2 designs and one colour of each, but it is a start in getting distribution beyond the USA. They are £89.00 which sounds like a lot of money but:-

£89.00 = $141.00 (as of today's rate on xe.com)

Buying Direct:-

$69.00 + USPS Express Mail (not sure if this is tracked, but it is quite a valuable item so I haven't gone for the cheapest option) at $33.30 = $102.50

Last time I got something by USPS (from Etsy) worth about $30.00 I got whacked for import fees/VAT of £11.50 ($18.25) (which was a Kindle case BTW)

So assuming it is proportional to the declared value of the item, lets make the fees and duty a nice round $30 (could be more). That comes to $132.50

Which is nearly twice as much as the value of the case itself.

Now I know you aren't saving any money by getting it from MobileFun - but you are saving the hassle.

If you choose to ship by UPS it starts at $65.99 just for the shipping

Plus if you think the standard Amazon case is £30.00 or $47, then the Oberon case is so much prettier for the money ......
