I've had my Kindle 2 for a little over a year and a half, and I've never seen another e-reader of any type other than in a store display. I take mine out almost daily and I've only been asked about it 3 or 4 times (one of those was someone asking me if it was an iPad). I live in the Midwest, but some of the cities I've been in while reading it are big enough that you'd think there were more of them around. I can't believe Amazon is only selling them in the bigger cities.
