Actually, Steven and Steve, those Old School Tie terms are still widely used -- but only ironically, and in the True Blue Brit sense of joking against themselves and their image elsewhere. The Scots do it too -- I sometimes use (for similar fun): 'Hoots Toots the Noo' in signing off posts here. Nobody in Scotland would ever use the term other than in jest. It's a play on stereotyping.
