I check if it's something I've been wanting for or if it fixes something I find annoying, I'll update immediately. If not, I might download it and install when I think about it. Or I might skip it.

I went from 0.6.20 (something) to 0.7.20 and then moved on to the beta as soon as I found out about the custom fields...
