Problem with 650

Just got it wednesday and the touch screen started acting up friday night...can`t believe it! had similar problem with the 600! I love the touch screen and the 650 is so much more responsive but now it`s dead Not happy...I`m leaving Monday morning for a month vacation and now I`m going to have to go into town tomorrow and get it changed and then load it up again I chatted with their on-line tech support but all he could offer was - do you have the ac adaptor. It`s like going to a doctor with a headache and he says: if you`d lose a little weight.... I can`t believe the ac adaptor would cure all ills - if it was that necessary they should ship it with the reader! In any case.. I do have the adaptor for the 600 and still had the problem. I`m very careful with them - no drops or hard handling. Just bad luck I guess. I really do love the touch screen though...when it works.
