Sort of resurrecting this thread.
Currently listening to Barrayar on my Kindle as an audio book from Audible. Whether it's the reader or my current mood, I'm throughly enjoy it, even of though there is still some aspects of a romance novel
The lady is a good writer and the humor just keeps coming through.
