I like a book that tells a story with enough details that my Imagination can
assume the missing pieces. Describing what color shirt/blouse a person wore just annoys me unless it turns out to be a clue in a "Who-dun-it"
Later, when a book goes to film, I can say: "But I thought they were ..."
