I just wanted to mention this in case it happens to anyone else. I was about to take a nap and was reading my K3 while laying down in bed. I was browsing a wikipedia article, and all of the sudden without any apparent reason, the screen got all these horizontal lines through it that made it very difficult to read. I did an alt-G screen refresh, but no luck. The lines appear even on the screensaver, and also after a restart. I contacted Amazon CS and they're sending me a new one which will be here tomorrow. They were very friendly, my only difficulty was that it was difficult to understand the gentleman's accent. He might have said something about there might be charges incurred after they receive the old Kindle in their warehouse, if they find that it was damaged because of abuse, but I couldnt understand him well. I doubt they'd find abuse because I've taken very good care of it.

Has this happened to anybody else?
