If I can find a DRM-free version of the book available, I buy that. If I can't, my next stop in Amazon because they are available on the largest number of platforms/devices and are the most likely to have the book. I don't like to have have several different silos of books, so right now everything is available either in the Kindle application, or iBooks (on the iPad), or Stanza (on the iPod because it's too old to run iBooks). I've considered trying to move the Kindle books to iBooks as well, but so far I haven't bothered.
