I wonder if the 650 using had some issues. I've not noticed any inconsistency with my 650 yet. I've only had it for four days, but have used it rather extensively during that time. I've found the touchscreen to be very responsive and never noticed it beng insensitive to my touch.

I really am loving the 650--and I have the lighted cover. The light is bright as Jaxx6166 points out. I keep mine on the low setting and have plenty of light. It could be a little dimmer with the bright setting being as light as the dim setting is now. But, I find it does a much better job of lighting the display than the lightwedge cover I have for my 505.
