Unlike all other ebook formats, B&N's pdb format actually changes the order in which things are stored between the encrypted and unencrypted versions. To convert from encrypted to unencrypted requires decompiling and compiling again. Since there's already a perfectly good compiler out there (DropBook), just decompile, tweak (if you want) and drop on DropBook.
