True, the thread is about zombies and so is his book.

The reason for the creation of "Author Self-Promotions" was that you had a lot of people signing on MR and immediately spamming their books.

So they put Author Self-Promotions in the main section. And the first posting in that section is Welcome Authors & Publishers! (please read this first).
"We've created this "Author Self-Promotions" forum as a place for authors and publishers to promote, sell, or give away their own ebook titles. If you've posted in a different forum, you can ask a moderator to move the thread by clicking the "report post" button ; other members may also signal misplaced threads, which will be moved."

"pigeonweather" has a new account and promotes his book in the most obvious area. Some have called that spam, but personally I don’t mind, too much.

He also has a posting in "Author Self-Promotions" called Unwritten Rules of Impossible Things that he posted BEFORE he posted here in the Zombie thread. That was why I said "I could be wrong. But you do know that there is a place for this kind of post, don't you?"

The "Author Self-Promotions" is a better place to go to for this type of thing.

On a side note;
I have read his book. For the most part it is pretty good. Not great, but pretty good.

The problem is that there is a lot of potentiality in the book. And most of it is left dangling in the wind.

Tom Lichtenberg may have a very good future ahead of him. But I think that he needs some help to develop himself. I get the feeling that he produced this book entirely by himself. If so, he needs an editor. If not, then he needs a better editor.

So I would recommend the book for a casual read, but hope that he'll rewrite it. Especially the end.

Thanks, Tom, for the link to your other books. Tom Lichtenberg
