I recently bought two ebook readers on the MobileRead flea market because they were great deals--a PocketBook360 and a Jetbook. I have been interested in both for a while now and I am happy to have the opportunity to try them.

Like Dr. Drib, I'm totally impressed with the PB360. It is now The Precious and my main reader. And in early days I almost gave up on it and sold it! I managed to upgrade FBReader and set it as the main reader, and I'm in love. I haven't tried it with DRMed books yet, though.

I got the Jetbook to try out the transreflective screen. It's a nice little reader and I haven't had a chance to play with it too much yet; I need to get some different formats and fonts and stuff on it to really judge how much I like it. I still like the PocketPro as a device but the firmware leaves something to be desired--maybe I need to carve out some time to figure out how to hack it. I mostly use the Gen3 for proofing and checking Mobi-format ebooks.

I want to be able to share ebooks with my sister and she doesn't have a reader and won't read on the PC. I will give her a choice of which extra reader she wants to borrow and just put the books on an SD card. She will give them back to me when she is done--she is not a book collector. I think that's actually a legal way to lend ebooks.
