Vandy here - Hello!
Hi, All.

My name is Gary and I go by Vandy on the 'net. You can use either name to chat with me.

I've just recently joined the Mobileread site and am looking forward to "getting into" the site more.

I am getting a Kindle 3 WiFi for my birthday (7 October, I turn 60) and am very excited about it.

I guess I'm a bit of a computer geek. Ive' been involved with and have used computers in business since 1973 and at home since 1981.

I currently have two desktops and one laptop along with a 60GB iPod and a 64GB iPod Touch and a Verizon 3G cell phone. The Kindle will be another "weapon" in my electronic "arsenal".

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and chatting with you. From what I've read, we've lost a quite a wonderful person in Patricia. My condolences to her family and God's grace be upon them.
