Obviously, it comes down to what you value vs what others value.
I have both and and just sold the NOOK.
The weight is an important factor to me as I read sometimes for 3 to four hours and reading with an E Reader is different than with a book as I hold it differently....I find the K3 weight super preferable.
The contrast on the K3 is better than the NOOK so it makes for a more enjoyable reading experiencefor for me.
Same for page turning...no noise and faster.....to me the K3 is just more refined....sure, NOOK owners may not see a reason to change but if you can have a better eexperience for the same price, why not?
